Dr. Kathleen Schaetzel grew up in Lawrence, Kansas, and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Nebraska Dental School. Inspired by her father, a caring and dedicated physician, she chose dentistry to carry forward his legacy of compassion and service to others.
With a warm personality and a genuine love for people, Dr. Schaetzel specializes in preventive care for both adults and children. She especially enjoys working with kids and helping them feel comfortable in the dental chair. In addition to preventive dentistry, she provides a wide range of services, including extractions, fillings, crowns, dental implants, Invisalign clear aligners, dentures, and more. Her main goal is to ensure that patients of all ages receive the care they need right here in our office.
Dr. Schaetzel’s philosophy of care is simple and heartfelt:
“I will meet you where you are. I understand dentistry is a relationship and I will take the time to listen and get to know you to give you the best care possible.”
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Schaetzel enjoys an active lifestyle. She loves animals, gardening, fishing, horseback riding, and dreams of one day becoming a proficient sailor. Her down-to-earth personality and passion for the outdoors make her a wonderful fit for our community.
